Newly added are 7 fully furnished deluxe cabins, each with 2 bedrooms one has 3 bedrooms , 2 bathrooms, living area, kitchen and covered deck overlooking the mountains. Advance camping reservations will be needed as this park has limited sites and fills up quickly, especially on the weekends. We also came last year for the weekend.
Should any water crossing be necessary, the permittee will make such crossing only on or over marked trails, strictly comply with posted rules and regulations and will avoid creation of any erosion or stream bed sediment. The campground and cabins are just a short distance from the Trailhead and trails are accessible from the campground. Check-in is at 2:00 pm, check-out is at 11:00 am.
Proper safety equipment must be worn at all times. The camera is fixed with the machine. There are over 250+ miles of trails now open in the area. I didn't expect that much difference because there never is but there is a huge difference in stability and even color grading. Also available are 10 rental cabins with 2 double bunk beds, kitchenette and a bathroom with showering facilities. All types of rentals are available here with a certified person onsite to assist.
This is the place to stay to ride quads, dirt-bikes, or jeeps. Windrock Park Campground is a campground located near Oliver Springs, Tennessee. Front office folks very friendly and helpful. I had two on my SxS and one on Cassie's helmet. But maybe you can get an idea just based on how smooth the cage mounted camera is.
The internal stabilization is very good. Those cabins still exist here at Windrock, but these new ones are much better for a full family of 4. Don't have a firearm, but want to try it out? Each person entering the area is required to have their permit along with the pink copy of their permit with them at all times while on the property. We had three going at all times. The people there are real nice, but even so they strictly enforce the quiet hours, and won't tolerate rowdy behavior - which we're thankful for.
The trails are marked from easy to difficult and range from paved and gravel to dirt and mud. It was a blast we stared the trip on trail 15 late in the evening with snow coming down. The trail system ranges from easy gravel roads to extreme mountainous terrain. Windrock Park is home to Windrock Hollow, a 20 acre premier event site that includes a 50'x 200' mud bog, a 30'x 400' dirt drag strip, an obstacle course, and a 40'x 72' pavilion. You can choose from Easy, Moderate or Rugged trails depending on your skill level.
