Or by becoming a Thank-you. Mercury was recorded by Grammy Award winning Paul B. Designed to be lighter but retaining full sound and expressive capabilities. A beautiful and powerful interface rendered in 3D designed to inspire you. I like the fact that you can adjust pretty much any detail of your sound with great ease. One year in the making, taking care of the smallest details in order to make it perfect.
It comes with the usual array of settings: threshold, ratio, attack, release and output or make-up gain. Mercury Lite features all the 5 mic positions combined in a single audio file. Low velocities offer a very warm and rich sound, while the high velocities serve up enough punch to compete with some upright pianos. Mercury was recorded by Grammy Award winning Paul B. There are tree piano lid positions to choose from: open, mid and close. But what about pedal behavior? It appears he's talking about Grand Rhapsody from Waves, which is also sampled from Freddie's Fazioli F-228.
I agree with you assessment of the True Keys Italian, especially as a solo instrument, but it's clear tone does cut well in a dense mix. That was a very good explanation! Mercury Lite requires Kontakt 5. The user interface is easy to use and extremely intuitive. I've also scanned the Wavesfactory webpage pretty extensively, and found no mentioning of a demo version. This Fazioli already has a rather sharply-chiselled, penetrating timbre of its own and the room or the recording only seems to bring out that particular characteristic even more, making for a somewhat harsh and quickly-tiring-on-the-ears pianosound, especially at higher dynamics and if you allow the far mics to make a substantial contribution to the summed signal. You can adjust the key and pedal noises.
Mercury was recorded with five microphones at different distances: ultra close, close, mono, mid and far. It also has very abrupt releases when you lift off a key the sound dies away very rapidly - it sounds unnatural to me , and this isn't adjustable. In my opinion this Mercury needed to spend a few more days in the loving care of someone with good and fresh! With 2x round robin repetitions, same effects including Metropolis Plates and settings as the pro version, this is the best piano library you can find at this price point. This results in a very natural sounding virtual piano. And we've included an essential selection of children's choral effects and an exclusive new collection of our signature sound-designed choral atmospheres and pads to complete this excellent package. A beautiful and powerful interface rendered in 3D designed to inspire you. The detail put into the sounds made by the piano shines here, with the ability to change the piano lid position, overall timbre of the sound and even mix the noises made by pressing down the sustain pedal and the key on and off sounds.
There is indeed a demo version for the Waves Grand. I was amazed by the sound quality of this virtual piano. I especially like the Round Robin or repetitions per key settings. That album totally changed my musical perspective. I'm not affiliated with Wavesfactory in any way, just somebody who had a 'holy moly - that's a sample library?! I'd prefer pedal-down samples, and I'm quite sure this effect is not dialling in pedal-down samples.
Mercury offers four repetitions per key and per velocity. I have been waiting for this moment for a whole year. We took if for a spin to find out. Numerous royals, composers, conductors, artists and performers have owned Blüthner pianos. Sophisticated, delicate, yet with a very rich bottom-end and a lot of body resonance — just like its inspirational namesake Fazioli F228 grand piano, put through its paces by musical maestro Freddie Mercury on a number of notable recordings. Maybe someone who has it in collection will uncover more details.
I ran into this regrettable feature within the first minute of playing this piano. You can also enable the neighbour borrowing mode where samples from adjacent keys are used and are tuned a half step up or down. Did you know Piano World has an online store, and that it's loaded with goodies pianists and music lovers want? I'll not be getting it, since I only recently got the Production Grand 2 Gold, and will invest in Kontakt 5 this month, which is enough for now. The intention is to display ads that are relevant and engaging for the individual user and thereby more valuable for publishers and third party advertisers. From the settings panel you can control basically any parameter that you might ever need. Norris with 5 mic positions from ultra-close to room sound for maximum versatility.
Rather distracting and … disappointing. Keyboardists go on an on about particular pianos. You can mute or solo any of the five microphone positions and you can adjust the level of the individual mic positions with a fader. High quality on enables the velocity morphing, a setting that applies seamless transitions between velocity layers. Smooth, flat, linear pieces - that is where it shines! Drummers go on and on about shells and heads.
