Return of the Living Dead: Necropolis, also known as Return of the Living Dead 4: Necropolis, is a Zombie horror film. Set mostly in a medical supply house owned by Burt Clu Gulager and run by Frank James Karen , the movie details the events of a night in which an experimental nerve gas pioneered by the military leaks and brings the dead back to life. The whole thing is played for laughs, with a pseudohip sense of humor satirizing everything from suburban punks to the military, while delivering a few legitimate chills.
Then the cable guy Tom Essex arrives to fix the television and he recognizes Lucy from the high-school. The movie features Aimee Lynn Chadwick, Cory Hardict, John Keefe, Jana Kramer and Peter Coyote. . In the morning, the boy Jesse Wilson is bullied by the older Billy and Johnny and he hides himself under a bridge nearby the cemetery. The two bullies find Jesse and they see the barrel. Then the bullies lock Jesse in a mausoleum and they decide to open the barrel, releasing the Trioxin and breathing the toxic gas. A group of teenagers become involved when their friend Zeke, played by Elvin Dandel, is involved in a motorbike accident and instead of being transported to the hospital he is taken to Hybratech where he will be used as a test subject.
Garrison, who is employed by the evil corporation Hybratech, hopes to use the toxin in order to create an army of the undead that can be used by the military. While transporting drums of the dangerous Trioxin gas, one of them falls from the army truck into a river. Despite the 4 in the title, the film has no relation to the previous Return of the Living Dead films. Ed and Joey go to the mausoleum and Jesse is released and runs home. In the process they must battle the undead and put an end to Dr. His sister Lucy Wilson tells him to do the homework. Charles Garrison, played by Peter Coyote, travels to Chernobyl in order to purchase the toxic gas Trioxin.
While the effects are superior the half-woman corpse that moves and talks while on the morgue table falls into the amazing-but-disgusting category , they cannot, and do not, carry the entire film. . . . . .
